What is the Goody Books School Sales Representative all about?

It is a program for students all over Singapore to sell our books. As they sell our books, they will earn a commission, which will increase as they sell more books.

How much can I expect to earn?

We hope to give you an answer as well, but the fact is we don't know too.

For a start, we can only tell you that an average School Sales Rep earns about $100 a month. That is, if he or she spent at least two to three hours a week promoting the books and meeting customers, and telling his or her friends about the books.

We have sales reps who earn more than $300 a month. They are usually the top sales reps, who promote the books aggressively and spent at least an hour or two promoting the books everyday.

Of course, we also have sales reps who earn less than $100 a month. They usually don't spend any time to promote the books.

What we can conclude is that how much you earn depends a lot on yourself.



Is there a sales quota to meet?

No, there is no sales quota to meet. You can sell just one book a month, or no book a month. But we suggest you, that, if sales on your side is dropping, inform us and we will try our best to help you.

However, you are still required to come down to our office at least once every two weeks.



Can I not promote the books?

We don't suggest that. Promoting the books will equals to sales: That is a formula that everyone know. Joining this program without promoting the books is like joining this program with no intention to earn money.

If you can't think of ways to promote the books, kindly inform us and we will advise you.



Do I need to pay to join the program?

No, you need not pay a single cent. In fact, we pay you to join the program! When you first come to our office, you will be given 7 books (you can request for 14 books if you are confident), a sales kit and 1,000 flyers. You will only need to return us the books should you want to quit.



Once I join, can I quit?

Yes, you can quit anytime, but we strongly discourage you from doing so. We believe that every individual can profit from this program, if not we will not waste our time and effort to implement this program. Goody Books has a reputation for treating their employees the best: So quitting is like quitting the best job in the world.

However, if you decide to quit for some reason, you can do so by booking an appointment with us, and coming down during your appointment date to return us any unsold books. We will pay you accordingly, and of course, followed by a handshake.



How will I be paid?

Payment will be made by cheque.

You will be paid on the forth week that you joined us: That is, if you join us on 15th October 2009, your paycheck will be ready by 15th November 2009. Should you not be able to come down on 15th November 2009, we will reserve your cheque until you come down to the office.



Will I be "sacked"?

As a matter of fact, yes, you will be suggested to terminate your work with us. This will occur if:

1. You fail to come down to our office for more than a month without a valid reason
2. You fail to update us of how is sales going on
3. You went missing from action

Should you fall into any of the above categories, we will have no choice but to terminate your work with us.
